VICTIM CANNOT IDENTIFY SUSPECT, COMPLICATING CASE BUILDING -- Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) struggle to build a case when a sexual assault victim cannot identify her alleged attacker. Although forensic evidence supports the assault, fading memory and reluctant testimony slow progress. The detectives revisit timelines, re‑interview witnesses, and analyze physical evidence to piece together the perpetrator’s identity.
